Becca and James’ cool city wedding at Aspire, Leeds.

Aspire Wedding Leeds Documentary Wedding Photographer

As a Leeds documentary wedding photographer, there’s something about a city wedding that I absolutely adore. It could be that they always tend to be quite vibrant, yet relaxed affairs… busy city streets, laid back couples, cool urban vibes. I only know that shooting weddings in the middle of an amazing city is a ton of fun.Becca and James were hitched at the amazing Aspire… and this was my second visit in the last half of the year. the light in this city wedding venue is always incredible and their ceremony, held in the main room, was awash with early Autumn light streaming through the windows mixed with a million candles.

Becca looked incredible in that amazing gown so it’s no wonder her lovely Dad got all emotional as he saw her for the first time at Quebecs Hotel where the girls were getting ready.

Make up and hair was provided by the lovely Becki Stirk and all the girls looked elegant in their dark blue off the shoulder bridesmaids gowns.

A hop, skip and a jump over the road, and it was time for the ceremony. James looked nervous to say the least, but once we were in full swing, he relaxed into it and soon enough, rings were exchanged and a kiss sealed the deal. Time for THE PARTY!

Let’s just say Becca and James have the most amazing friends and family who not only know how to drink, but also how to dance. Becca’s dad is THE DUDE on the dancefloor. Big shout out to Becca’s cousins from down south, who brought their drinking and dancing shoes with them, and also high fives to the Bush Boys for being my lighting bitches and generally making me laugh.

So here’s some of my favourite shots from Becca and James’ shindig at Aspire.
