I love Buckland Hall in the Brecon Beacons. As wedding venues go, it is pretty special. It has amazing light, amazing space, great staff and delicious veggie food! It is also set in the rolling hills of the Brecon Beacons. As I drove up the morning of Leanne and Tat’s wedding, the mist was still covering the tops of the mountains, there was a slight chill in the air and everything was still. It was gonna be a good day.
And then all these sodding BBC types arrived with their big cameras and huge lenses and made me feel inadequate!
If you like your weddings with added vintage style, you’re gonna love this. All the guests at Leanne and Tat’s big day were decked out in proper vintage attire. Some of the gentlemen had even adopted period style moustaches and hair styles especially for the wedding. There were hats, cigarette holders, spats and Charleston frocks. Proper vintage!
Leanne looked gorgeous along with her beautiful daughter, and there were some pure comedy gold moments, some crazy karaoke, and I even did some crowd surfing thanks to Leanne’s bro who had flown in from somewhere exotic. No doubt his back is knackered now!
Massive thanks to everyone for letting me hang out and for letting me smoke their cigars and swear with the boys! P.S. I got my Glasto ticket!
