Crab Manor in Thirsk is not your average wedding venue. But then Eloise and Ben aren’t your average couple either. As quirky wedding venues go, it doesn’t get much more surreal than here. Stuffed full of deep sea divers, a yeti, a skeleton hanging from the ceiling, vintage knick knacks, and very very fine food, it’s the only place for people as well read, romantic and interesting as these two.
Eloise looked like a model straight from the pages of Vogue in her amazing Amanda Wakeley gown. Her blue hydrangea bouquet was created by her clever mum who had also spent months growing and drying flowers for confetti. I also got the chance to work alongside the amazing talents of Julie Mercer and Rachel White who were on hand to create Eloise’s gorgeous hair and make-up.
And did I mention the food?
Awesome.
Thanks to both Ben and Eloise for letting me share their day and to their friends and family who made me feel like one of the guests.
So here’s a selection of my favourites from their beautiful wedding.
