Sometimes my job is super easy. When you have clients this gorgeous, this funny and this sweet, all I have to do is push the button.
The amazingly beautiful Shaza married old snake hips, Kareem, in the very first ceremony in the barn at The Normans in York. Now this is a wedding venue that has everything going for it. Not only does it have an cool industrial rustic vibe (complete with authentic farm machinery for all my beautiful brides to pose against), it also has a chilled out contemporary courtyard – and then there’s a big barn over the road for those super awesome bridesmaid and groomsmen shots and lots and lots of fields. Plus it’s run by two of the loveliest people, Oliver and Laura Robinson and their cute dog Betty.
Lit by candles and fairylights, Shaza and Kareem had a lovely ceremony in the Normans barn, where there was much much name confusion, and a lot of laughter. Then it was confetti time in the courtyard with the sun beating down. And man….the food…. so much food. They had also put some personal touches to the stalls with shisha pipes and colourful lanterns for a bit of a chill out area, but quite frankly, we were all too busy getting down on the dancefloor to chill out.
A massive thanks to them both for letting me take lots of pictures of their incredible day and for make me laugh quite a bit too.
These are my highlights…
