Rustic woodland weddings seem to hold a fascination for brides and grooms. Maybe it’s because we’re slightly obsessed with the weather in England. Maybe it’s because we love the great outdoors. Maybe it’s just the romantic in us. Whatever the reason, boats, trees, flora and fauna always seem to inspire us.

Recently I had the chance to work with some of my favourite people, Lynne at Stems Design and Rachel at Simply Vintage, for this little shoot with Yorkshire Yurts, Lucy Wright Events, Little Pearl Bridal and the girls from Catherine Elizabeth. Tom at Yorkshire Yurts has just launched his new 50ft yurt – it’s big baby! If you’re planning a rustic style wedding, Tom’s yurts are oh so pretty and have cool bars, awesome lighting, huge dancefloors and cosy log fires. Perfect whatever the weather.
