Eshoot at Harewood House by wedding photographer

Blimey! Where has this year gone? It went by in a flash! It started in April with Sarah and Stuart in York and will end on the 27th December with Nechelle and Carl at the National Trust. It’s been kinda epic. I’ve met some beautiful new people, hugged total strangers, shared cigars with many a groomsmen, and done shots at the bar with many a bridesmaid. I’ve danced with aunties, uncles and best men, eaten more than my fair share of wedding cake and laughed my ass off. I’ve shot weddings in some of my gorgeous regular haunts like East Riddlesden and also had the opportunity to visit beautiful new places such as Rise Hall and Aynhoe Park. I’ve followed a bride and groom to hospital, snapped cute pooches dressed in tuxedos and crowd surfed. It doesn’t really get better than that does it?

So here it is, my year in pictures. It was pretty difficult choosing my favourites of 2014 out of the thousands that I’ve taken, so apologies if this post is a little long.

A massive shout out to all of my beautiful brides, handsome grooms, hot bridesmaids, cool groomsmen, lovely mums and dads, gin bitches and lighting assistants! I couldn’t have done it without you. A big thank you to some of my mates too who have kept me on the straight and narrow including Paul and Kelly, Lee Allen, Emma at East Ridd, Helen at Rise, Lisa Brown (for all her hugs and cards) Adam Johnson (who has to put up with me messaging him 20 times a week asking stupid questions), Jon at S6 (for rescuing me in a crisis and plying me with booze), lovely hat maker Chrissie, my awesome neighbour Jo, Ian W (my techie saviour and bloody good photographer to boot), my fluffy dog Spike who makes me go outside for fresh air, and finally… my mini me, Schyler. She’s kinda awesome. Plus she makes me laugh every single day.

So.. Merry christmas…. see you in 2015!
