My job is crazy. They say that no two weddings are ever the same, but there are similarities. But not for these two. Ben and Lucy didn’t so much hold a wedding at Aynhoe Park, more of an Extravaganza. I will never ever shoot anything quite so epic, ridiculous, fun, mental and bloody brilliant as this in my entire career. Yes there was an amazing Vera Wang gown. Yes there were swans wings. Yes, the delectable Hamish from Glastonbury’s iconic Rabbit Hole conducted the ceremony (dressed as a rabbit). And yes… there was a tattooist on hand to make sure everyone went home with a tattoo… But more than that… so much more.

Transvestites, Alice in Wonderland, victorian strong men, a New York taxi, various bands, scary clowns, christmas, mince pies, an arctic explorer, a polar bear, a yeti, contortionists, a machine that made heart shaped clouds, disco ball girls, santa, a punch up (although that was my idea!), male bridesmaids, skulls, taxidermy, Take That songs, bowler hats and..well, just so much more.
