Being a Wharfedale Grange wedding photographer is a huge deal. Mainly because I really love the venue and I have a great big soft spot for Claire and her team who run it with military precision and are as nuts as me.

So I don’t take for granted the fact that these lovely lot recommend me to their couples to shoot their wonderful weddings. As a Wharfedale Grange wedding photographer, I know this luxury barn venue like the back of my hand. Blimey, I was there when they were pulling down walls, and putting in windows – I’ve been on site in a hard hat and hi vis vest in the middle of winter when Claire was up to her knees in mud and dust and having every faith that they would be open in time for their first wedding. And now, months down the line, I have to say, it was totally worth it. It is an amazing venue.

So it’s no wonder that couples come to view it and want to book. It really is gorgeous.

For Anna and Al, it was the perfect spot for their US/UK wedding. Celebrating in style with their family from across the pond, along with Al’s family from this side of the Atlantic, it was just the best day ever.

Anna looked amazing in her dressing gown, never mind her boho chic BHLDN Anthropologie wedding gown! And her many bridesmaids looked equally awesome in their matching outfits.

The fields outside bloomed in bright orange american poppies, the sun shone and the booze flowed. It was my kinda wedding.

There was a doughnut wall, there was some cheerleader style stunts, there was confetti, and cocktails, incredible shoes, make up by Lipstick and Curls and a party to end all parties.

I love weddings like these… crazy people having the best times of their lives, dancing, smiling, drinking. This is why I love being a Wharfedale Grange Wedding Photographer. It’s the best job in the world.
