I’ve shot lots of micro weddings and beautiful elopements (many of which I’ve been also been the witness too!) and they are by far, some of my favourite weddings. I’ve shot an elopement in Austria, a micro wedding at Yorebridge House, and even an American couple getting hitched secretly/not so secretly at Swinton Park.

When it comes to weddings, my couples tend to be relaxed and informal with an extra serving of fun.

As an experienced Micro wedding and elopment photographer, I’ll be there to capture all the major moments and the little things inbetween. Ensuring I capture the essence of your wedding from start to finish, whilst also grabbing the important family photos, some gorgeous editorial style portraits, plus all the essential details of your tables, stationery and everything inbetween.

I’m there for all the emotion, all the happiness and all the FEELS. Some people are seasoned pros in front of the camera, whilst some feel a little bit uncomfortable, but that’s ok. I’ve been doing this job for so long, I know how to make you feel relaxed from the word go. My Micro wedding photography package includes a 15 minute couple shoot that will have you looking super cool and damn fine… no hours of posing, just beautiful, art led imagery for mini wedding lovers.

GOT SOME QUESTIONS?

Of course, I usually tell my couples to have a small amount of bride or groom prep so I can capture all the anticipation, the nerves and excitement before you say I do.

Lots of couples write their own personalised vows and this gives a much less formal feel to proceedings. It’s so much nicer to write something that is meaningful. For elopements, it’s even more important as it’s just the two of you getting to say exactly what’s in your heart.

No problem. Your wedding day should be about you spending time with your guests – not with me taking hundreds of photos. My style is very editorial and documentary, so we only spend a short time on portraits.

Gone are the days when photographers were relegated to the back of the room. These days, we’re allowed to photograph you as you come down the aisle, and during the vows. But I always shoot silently and discreetly as possible so as not to distract you from actually saying I do! But I will be there to capture all the moments as they unfold. If you’re having a celebrant led ceremony, I will have a much more relaxed approach to photographing your vows, but I’ll still be shooting from a distance.

A micro wedding wouldn’t be complete without confetti! Just remember to bring your own confetti and check with your venue where they would prefer the confetti to happen!

Unlike a lot of photographers, I stay as long as you want. If you want to capture some of the speeches or anything else for that matter, just add a few more hours onto your coverage.

Me, my trusty cameras and my passport have trekked uphill and down dale for my wonderful couples. From Scotland to Wales, Brighton to London, wherever you are heading, I’ve got ya. (Please note a travel fee for outside of Yorkshire is applicable)
