Every photographer talks about capturing the moments. The first kiss, the exchange of the rings, the first dance. And yeah whilst all that is important, for me, the magic happens in between the moments.
Someone holding your speech, a gentle reassuring touch of a hand on your back, a knowing glance across a room. Tiny fragments that make up a whole. Weddings are not just a room full of people celebrating a wedding, they are so much more than that. Every wedding story is different and body language, tiny gestures, mood, unnoticed displays of love and affection. It’s these seemingly insignificant little things, that captivate me.
So yeah, I shoot the big stuff, but I’m there for the small stuff too. And if video is your thing, I also do mini highlight films too.

I love still images. I grew up when film was still the only way to capture everything. Back then, I only shot on black and white film and every print was a work of art. I am still in love with photography… Portraits where you look like a movie star… tiny moments that happen that you might not have noticed. But I also love the magic of movies. There is something about the moving image that is different to your photos. It’s not an either or kinda thing… both film and photography have an equal footing in my opinion. They sit side by side.. like cheese and pickle or fish n chips,
Which is why I offer mini highlight films so you can have the best of both worlds. You can upgrade your photography package to include one of my editorial style films so that you can watch it back a hundred times and see the joy in people’s faces, whilst still having incredible photos too.

WHERE I SHOOT
Road Tripping
From the shores of the Lake District to urban London, across the hills of Yorkshire up to bonny Scotland and the inbetween bits, I travel the land with my trusty cameras taking pictures for my clients all over the world. Being a wedding photographer means I shoot all kinds of weddings, whether your ceremony is in a barn, at an iconic hotel, country house or castle, or you’re planning an intimate elopement with a pint afterwards.
I also do midweek intimate city weddings with shorter coverage so don’t worry if your celebration isn’t a big affair… 200 people or a micro wedding, I’ve got you covered!
I shoot a limited number of weddings each year so book early to avoid missing out.
LUXURY WEDDINGS
Whether you’re getting married in a castle in Scotland, a country house in Yorkshire, or a luxury barn in the lake district, my photography is a no-fuss approach so you can enjoy every moment safe in the knowledge that I’ll be capturing the important bits so you can cherish them for a lifetime.
RUSTIC BARN, TIPI & INDUSTRIAL WEDDINGS
Whether you’re getting married in the wonderful Wharfedale Grange, in a tipi at This Green Moon, or in the woodland at Camp Katur, you can be assured that I’ll be capturing all the important stuff (rain or shine) so you can cherish those moments for a lifetime.
TOWN HALL WEDDINGS
Town Hall weddings are just as important as those big luxury affairs in a swanky castle. And whether you’re having 100 people to the local pub to celebrate or it’s just you and a couple of mates as witnesses, I’ll be there to capture the good stuff.
MICRO WEDDINGS & ELOPEMENTS
If you’re planning on a micro wedding with a handful of your favourite people, or running off for a handfasting on top of a mountain, this is for you. Teeny tiny weddings that pack more punch than a heavyweight champion.

If you wanna celebrate your love, or you’ve never had pictures of you both together before (selfies don’t count people!), or you just wanna practice so you don’t feel awkward on your wedding day, e-shoots are a great place to start.
