Corrie & Tom’s Urban Industrial Black and Gold Bee Themed Wedding at Manchester Town Hall and the Victoria Warehouse

Industrial weddings are the epitome of cool right now and Corrie and Tom’s wedding at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse, was no exception.  Corrie was rocking the laid back vibe in her beautiful two piece bespoke wedding gown from Agape Bridal in Altrincham, with blooms in her hair from the talented Sian Wild at Didsbury Flower Lounge completing her boho style. She was chauffeured in style by her lovely dad to the Manchester Town Hall in a vintage Citroen that he’d lovingly restored in time for the big day – it was even sporting their names on the bodywork, and seats that matched the ones in Corrie’s stylish home.

Waiting at the Town Hall, Tom and his groomsmen were looking sophisticated in their tweed ties and scarves and dark suits, and the ceremony room was decked in demijohns with warm twinkling fairy lights and cotton branches. I love shooting at the Manchester Town Hall because of the amazing light, wood panelling and the incredible history of the building. It certainly makes for beautiful portraits. Once the ceremony was over and they were declared husband and wife, it was time for drinks and onto the Victoria Warehouse.

Corrie is incredibly creative and, like lots of my brides, had spent hours poring over Pinterest for inspiration for her wedding. Her gold and black bee theme at Victoria Warehouse looked incredible with the demijohns making beautiful table centrepieces thanks to the Flower Lounge, plus Corrie had made some cool concrete planters for tiny sedums that doubled up as place settings complete with the bee logo they’d used in their invitations. There were mini bottles of tabasco to liven up the guests, and gorgeous bee costumes for all the little girls at the wedding. There was a mini circus tent, hula hoops and not one, but two, excellent bands and a speed painter!
