MICRO WEDDING AT YOREBRIDGE HOUSE

When you shoot a wedding where every guest is crying (yes including the photographer and both registrars!) then you know you’re onto something special. when ruby and Callum decided to have a micro wedding at Yorebridge House, they probably didn’t know just how much emotion would be involved.

PERSONAL VOWS, AMAZING FOOD, & A FIRST LOOK

I love shooting at Yorebridge House – I mean it’s the most beautiful boutique hotel for starters, but it’s the setting that blows you away. Nestled on the banks of two rivers, this wonderful country house is in the heart of Wensleydale – it’s just the perfect spot for a micro wedding.

Callum and Ruby chose to exchange vows in a tiny ceremony witnessed by their immediate family – mums and Dads and Callum’s sister. I love photographing micro weddings here because the setting allows for real, unfiltered moments – no distractions, no big crowds, just the couple, their closest people, and a whole lot of love. The dramatic landscape, amazing weather, and the intimate feel of the day all come together to create a wedding in the most natural way.

LOVE IN THE ROOM

Because Callum and Ruby chose to write their own vows, their ceremony wasn’t just a formality – it was raw, heartfelt, and completely theirs. With only five guests, plus me and the two registrars, every emotion felt amplified. Every glance carried meaning, every touch spoke volumes, and the love in the room was almost tangible. Their mums took on ring-bearing duties, adding another layer of sentiment before it was all sealed with a kiss. I don’t think I’ve ever seen two registrars cry at a wedding before!

Afterwards, there was laughter, confetti, champagne, and a few family photos before Callum and Ruby slipped away for portraits. We wandered down by the river, through the golden fields, with a few curious sheep as our quiet audience. It was unhurried, intimate, and full of those little in-between moments that make a wedding day so special. Then, it was back to Yorebridge to celebrate with some amazing food and great wine.

Here’s a few of my fave pictures from their micro wedding at Yorebridge House.
