Joe and Sophie’s Stylish Cotswolds Wedding in the Stone Barn
The most stylish wedding in the Cotswolds at the Stone Barn.
These crazies! It was a party from the minute we arrived. Dhol drummers to march us in and out of the ceremony at the Stone Barn, an incredible backdrop, a wonderful traditional venue with a modern twist, a crazy first dance, more dhol drumming, another band, and a bucking bronco… oh my days!
Joe and Sophie don’t do things by halves. No sirree. They party and they party good and hard. The Stone Barn in the Cotswolds provided the perfect backdrop for the ceremony which took place in the main barn under a whole sea of greenery, lit by candles and smiles aplenty. Soph looked incredible in her gorgeous gown and golden crown whilst the bridesmaids looked equally stunning in their floral embroided pale blue dresses. Joe meanwhile, was resplendent in a lovely bit of blue tweed with some personal touches such as his little mouse adornment on his lapel.
There were some emotional (and funny) vows, not a dry eye in the house – even I was struggling to keep it together – and so much confetti. There was a romp down a hillside, a lot of falling over, incredible speeches, warm hugs, hilarity, two bucking broncos (who ordered another one???) and a million shots.
