I love Eden, Broughton Hall. Just the right mix of contemporary vibe mixed with mid century furniture and a lovely old barn. As wedding venues go, it’s my kinda style. Jenny and Jonny chose Eden as the base for their amazing rustic tipi wedding and asked me along for the crazy ride.
Jenny looked absolutely gobsmackingly gorgeous in that vintage style head piece and a stunning gown and the bridesmaids looked way too cool in their red sunglasses! The sun shone, the bride’s father did magic tricks and I (as a former journo) got to meet an all time hero. It doesn’t really get better than that does it?
Jenny and Jonny headed off to the beautiful methodist church in Saltaire, surely one of the most stunning churches in West Yorkshire, for their ceremony and then it was back for ice cream, and gin and dancing and a curd tart cake complete with sheep! The tipi looked amazing with a tin bath for booze, a washing line for hats to be hung, hay bales and lashings and lashing of ginger beer!
Here’s some of my favourites from their amazing day.
