REAL WEDDING

Bride and groom exchanging rings at Leeds Civic Hall

MIKEY+ MOLLIE

Mikey & Mollie’s laid-back Leeds wedding was one for the books! They ditched the traditional fanfare and went for a relaxed, urban vibe that suited them perfectly. The day kicked off with their ceremony at The Civic Hall in Leeds, a spot that perfectly blends elegance with a touch of city grit.

Then after confetti and photos, we headed to one of my favourite Leeds venues, Shears Yard. The laid back industrial vibe was perfect for Mikey and Mollie’s wedding… surrounded by their friends and family, some incredible food and the best party ever!

MY SHEARS YARD WEDDING LEEDS HIGHLIGHTS

A CITY WEDDING CELEBRATION – LEEDS CIVIC HALL & SHEARS YARD WEDDING

I photograph a lot of weddings at The Civic Hall in Leeds. I know the building like the back of my hand, and where to get the best shots afterwards. But when it comes to shooting another photographer’s wedding, there’s always a bit of added pressure! But Mikey and Mollie were so relaxed that their wedding was an absolute breeze. After their lovely ceremony, we had time for a handful of family photos, before heading onto the streets of Leeds for some urban portraits. There was even time to pop into a bar for some tequila shots. Then it was a quick uber ride over to Shears Yard with it’s pared back vibe and industrial style. Mollie and Mikey had gone for a simplistic yet oh so stylish design with candles and white roses. There was an amazing cake, a magician to blow people’s minds, and food to fill our bellies. What an amazing day. Here’s a few of my highlights from their Shears Yard Wedding Leeds.
